The year was 2005. Jules had just returned from her epic adventures and, though glad to be back, was craving the fresh smoothies she practically lived on in Oz and South Africa.

Realising that just would not do, she opened a small juice bar on Northcote Road, Battersea. As it turned out, Jules wasn't the only one mad for freshly blended juicy smoothies. Pretty soon the stall was flooded with happy customers and Jules was swimming in the fruits of her labour.

Of course, success isn't always as sweet as you'd imagine it to be; All
the peeling, slicing and dicing made for a very messy job. Something had to be done.

To save time (and bother) Jules spent her evenings packing fruit into individual bags and storing them in her freezer. The next day she'd use them to create smoothies people kept coming back for, only without the fuss or mess. Sorted.

Now, we're sure you'll agree that everyone needs a day off, but on those rare occasions Jules shut shop, her customers were pretty bleak. The needed their fruit fix like a bear needs honey and, believe us, you don't want to tangle with
a honey-starved bear.

It was time for another idea. In a moment of true genius, Jules decided to sell the frozen fruit packs so she could relax (a little, at least) and her customer could make their own smoothies at home. Now, good ideas never sit still, and this idea was well above average.

Pretty soon all sorts of people wanted a piece of the frozen-fruit action, from gym cafes to hotels to local companies and well, folks just like you. And so the Blendie was born and, as you might have suspected, it's already making history.
